Welcome. Potteries Omnibus Preservation Society (POPS) was formed in 1976 to preserve former PMT buses. PMT? It actually stands for Potteries Motor Traction, and the initials have been in use locally for decades. Only in recent times have the initials been used for something quite different! Although the name was perpetuated as "FirstPMT", the PMT part of the name was discontinued from the end of May 2007. The company is now "First Potteries". POPS will at least ensure the PMT name lives on in preservation.
